How to Find and Remove Virus in Windows using Command Prompt
Viruses are the programs which any computer user doesn’t want to enter his/her PC. Though you have got some sort of anti-virus and it is capable enough to detect and remove virus from your system but sometimes even your antivirus fails to detect some sort of viruses, in that case cmd prompt may help you out and remove virus from computer.
There are some suspicious viruses like autorun.inf which initiates all the viruses in the computer and cannot be detected by your antivirus.
Follow the below steps carefully and remove viruses from computer –
These steps needs to be carefully done as a small mistake can interrupt your operation
I.) Click on “Start” button from the desktop and type in ‘ cmd ‘ in the search box or you may navigate to Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt.
II.) Now command prompt will open up, select the infected drive, for example if you want to select then type D: to go to D drive.
III.) Now you have to type this command without quotes ” dir/w/a “, it will show all the files including hidden files.
Now find in those files which you are not aware of and other viruses.
IV.) Usually you will find a file named Autorun.inf whic must be removed from your computer. To remove this virus, type this command ” attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf ” (without quotes) & press enter. Then type del autorun.inf & hit enter, follow the same for all drives.
Now the infected file is removed from your drives, if you found any .exe file after the search which is unknown to you then delete it as well.

II.) Copy the files and paste them where you want.
